Name: Morningstar, formerly Morningglory
Age: 38 moons
Gender: Female
Rank: Leader
Lives: 9
Appearence:
Morningstar is a long-furred, dilute calico she cat. Her bright blue eyes provide a stark contrast from her orange and grey fur. She has a dark pink nose which provides little contrast from her fur. She had a long, fluffy tail which flows behind her as she walks. She is an extremely large cat with long legs and a long body. When positioned next to another cat, she will tower over the other. Her fur is moderately long; it is longer than the average cat's, but it is not exceptionally long. None the less, her fur still provides great protection against the cold winter in the mountains.
In her youth, Morningglory, at the time, was known for her beauty, her long, dilute calico fur always in pristine condition, sparkling to its fullest extent. Though she is still relatively young, the older she grows, the worse condition her pelt falls into. As she has aged, her pelt has become ridden with battle scars, her most notable a scar which runs directly through her left eye. This scar somehow complements her and adds even more to her fierce beauty. Her other scars also happen to be claw marks on her rump from battle and a scar on her throat from an attempt at her life shortly before the battles began. Though her fur is scarred and no longer contains as brilliant of a sheen as it once had, she still tries to maintain its good condition, keeping it as clean as she can.
Personality: Morningglory is a rather complex cat with many aspects to her personality. To those closest to her, she can be quite sweet and loving. She cares deeply for those who are close to her, though there are not many to whom she is close. To those who she is not exceptionally close though, she may seem rather distant and cold. She often speaks formally, using very proper grammar. She is very polite and never wants to offend any cat verbally, though mentally, she is extremely opinionated. She is not extraordinarily close to many cats.
Morningglory cares more about her clan than anything else. She is completely willing to risk her life to keep her clan safe and her family protected. She focuses all of her attention on her work and works hard to protect her clan. She hardly ever lets her guard down. Over the years, she has built up walls around her to make it even more difficult to get close to her. She tries to keep as distant as possible from cats to avoid getting hurt. She is not a particularly religious cat. She still believes in Moonclan, though she doubts at many times that they truly care for her and her clan as much as some say. In situations of extreme gravity though, she will sometimes send them a small prayer, never out loud though. She regrets that before she climbed the ranking ladder in Fallenclan that she never obtained a mate, for now she cannot mate for her clan's sake. She wants nothing more than to keep her clan safe and together.
History: At least three solid paragraphs (excluding kits) Morningglory was born to the Leader of Skyclan, Rainstar, and Mistycallings, his mate. She was the only kit in her litter. She had a rather average kit-hood. When she was six moons old, she finally became an apprentice. She was assigned the mentor Snakeeyes. She was an extremely fast learner and excelled at her training, hunting nearly as well as a warrior in three moons and fighting in four. Morningglory was her father's "Golden Child," and when she was made a warrior, she was given the name, "Morningglory" because her grandfather, Skystar, knew she would be a glorious warrior and leader one day.
Morningglory was an exceptional warrior in Skyclan. She bravely faced any challenge she was faced with. During the Season of the White, she would go on multiple hunting patrols each day and hunt food for her clan. Even on days where no prey could be found, she would spend extra time hunting and even sometimes would wake up before dawn to hunt. After three moons, Skystar decided to appoint her an apprentice. Skystar was growing old and only had two lives left and knew his time would soon run out. He decided that Emeralddragon, Emeraldpaw at the time, was to be her apprentice. Throughout his apprenticeship, she worked as hard as she possibly could training her apprentice to be a great warrior. When she felt her apprentice was fully prepared, Emeraldpaw was given the name, Emeralddragon.
Less than half a moon after her apprentice became a warrior, Skystar lost his last life, and Rainstar became the leader of clan, and Morningglory was appointed deputy. She worked extremely hard as deputy and worked her tail off organizing patrols and helping her father. The first part of her deputyship was rather peaceful; Skyclan was at peace, food was plentiful, and the Season of the Returning's weather was good. As the Season of the Sun came around though, things went awry. One day, less than a moon after the start of the Season of the Sun, Morningglory decided to lead a hunting patrol. She, along with Emeralddragon, Diamondeye, Caveclaw, and Darkfoot, went out into their territory to hunt. After a while, Morningglory caught sight of a rabbit. She chased it and got separated from the group. As she was searching for the rest of her party, she was attacked by a Tornadoclan warrior. The warrior took her by surprise. She put up a heavy fight, but she was overpowered. During the battle, the warrior slashed her haunches and raked his claws down her face, giving her the scars on her rear and down her eye. Morningglory put up a fight, but in the end he overpowered her. The warrior dragged a claw through her throat, severing her external jugular vein. She laid there for quite some time, bleeding out. As she was on the edge of death, about to die, Emeralddragon discovered her lying there and dragged her back to camp. Cowhide stopped the bleeding once Emeralddragon pulled her into camp, and she managed to pull through. She barely survived, and it took her moons to recover. Once she recovered, things went smoothly for a short time, but then the final attack occurred. When their enemies attacked their fellow clans, Skyclan came to the aide of their friends. They fought and fought. Many cats died, and in the end, few cats were left. They decided to from Fallenclan. The leaders became co-leaders, and the deputies all became co-deputies. Morningglory was able to keep her position. After the new Fallenclan was formed, the territory has since remained in peace. At the age of 37 moons, Morningglory began to prepare to become leader of Fallenclan. Rainstar, her father, was growing old, so she has been preparing herself to take over his position. Morningglory has no mate, nor does she have any kits. No cat has ever felt attracted to her enough to mate, due to her cold outer surface and her focus on her clan and work as deputy.
